Inter Zonal District Level Competition

JAMMU, Sept 12: In the Inter Zonal District Level Competition, Zone Jammu defeated Zone Gandhi Nagar (Boys) in an under 19 football match by 5-4 goals at Khel Gaon Nagrota, here today.
The Inter Zonal District Level competition matches were played in two different places in Nagrota and MA Stadium Jammu where Indoor Games are held in different disciplines such as Boxing, Wrestling, Taekwondo and Table Tennis under the all age groups.
In this competition about 600 players from all 14 zones of District Jammu took part. The main aim of this competition is to select the best team for the next level of completion. The players are struggling very hard in the competition with full strength and spirit.
In the U-19 (Boys) Table Tennis final match KC International School defeated Delhi Public School. The under -14 (boys) Table Tennis semi final match was won by Delhi Public School by defeating KC Public School.
In the U-17 (Boys) Table Tennis, Army Public School Sunjwan defeated Salyaketu Vidyalayas, APS Jammu Cantt defeated St. Xavier, GHS Chakmurar Bishnah lost to APS Kaluchak, APS Miran Sahib defeated GHSS Pargwal.
In under-19 boys football matches 1st semi final; -Zone Jammu beat Zone Miran Sahib by 3-1 goals, 2nd semi final, Gandhi Nagar beat Bhalwal by 3-1 goals and in the final, Zone Jammu beat Zone Gandhi Nagar by 5-4 goals.
