JAMMU, Feb 24; J&K Youth Rural Games and Sports Association (YRGSA) today conducted selection trials of Kathua and Samba districts for upcoming National Championship-201, being organised by Youth Rural Games and Sports Federation of India at Goa from March 5 to 7.
About 65 children and youth from various localities and areas of Samba and Kathua districts participated and exhibited their talent in various sports events.
Davinder Singh, Sarpanch Rajpura was chief guest along with other dignitaries of the locality. The chief guest appreciated the efforts of the YRGSA for visiting their locality and providing opportunity to local talented youth to compete at national and international level competitions.
Gurvinder Kour, state secretary YRGAS conducted the selection trials in the presence of Sweety Jyotshi joint secretary, Sourabh Kumar (Tug of War official), Shrishta (Yoga official), Aqeeb (Volleyball coach) and Susheel. Tajinder Singh, president YRGSA conveyed best wishes to the selected participants.
