Youth Rural Games & Sports Association conducts competition

JAMMU, July 15: Youth Rural Games and Sports Association of J&K, affiliated with Youth Rural Games and Sports Federation of India today organised various online sports competitions including Chess, Yoga, Athletics and Badminton for children and youth of Jammu division.
About 200 children and youth from eight districts of Jammu and Kashmir participated in which 96 children and youth were selected for the national championship.
Abhay Slathia, son of Ravinder Singh of Samba district emerged as best player in Yoga (U-13yrs boys category), Ikjot Kour, daughter of Harvinder Singh of Jammu district was the best player of Yoga (U-9years girls category).
Aqib Mushtaq, son of Mushtaq Ahmad of Jammu district was declared as best player in Athletics (U-17 boys) while Harshita Jain, daughter of Ravinder Jain of Jammu district emerged as best player in Yoga (U-17 girls) and Mannat Gupta, daughter of Sanjay Gupta was the best performer in Yoga (U-17 girls).
Sanidhya Sharma, son of Sunil Sharma of Jammu was declared as best player in Athletics (U-9 boys) category.
Yoga performances were judged by Sweety Jyotshi and Gurpreet Kour.
