‘Youth for Change’ Kashmir Mega Football Fest concludes

GANDERBAL, Sept 4: The Mega Football extravaganza organised by Jammu and Kashmir Youth Development Forum (JKYDF) concluded in Sehpora Sherpathri Football Stadium here today with FC Harmukh emerging as title winners.
In the equally poised final match played between FC Poisons and FC Harmukh which went down to the wires with no side succeeding to score any goal in the alloted time, the latter beat former in the tie-breaking penalty shoot-out by 4-3.
Presentation ceremony was held to felicitate the participants and the guests.
Sayer Majeed, KAS officer attended the function as chief guest and distributed prizes, mementos and ther cash rewards. Syed Hamid Ali Shah Bukhari, Registrar Companies J&K and Shah Aijaz, president Ganderbal Media Guild were also present as special guests of honour on the occasion.
Chief Parton of J&K Youth Development Forum, Farooq Ganderbali said it was really very hard to organise the final amid restrictions and mobile network blockade as the situation in Kashmir was not favourable for such a huge function with spectators flocking in the stadium to watch this sensational tussle between the two favourite teams.
Shahriyar Majeed, president YDF also expressed his joy and satisfaction over the successful conduct of this mega Football extravaganza.
