JAMMU, May 17: Young Athletic Club organized 6 kilometers Cross Country, which started from Qasim Nagar here and ended at the same venue.
110 athletes participated in the event which was held under the overall supervision of Athletic Coaches Shames Malik and Gurcharan Singh, besides Ajay Pal Gill, Gourav Kumar Atri, Manshi, Raj Kour and Dr Mehak.
Sunita Kargotra, CPO RPHQ Jammu was the chief guest on the valedictory function, who distributed prizes among the winners on the occasion.
In Junior boys, Pawan Kumar clinched first place, while Ankush Kumar bagged second spot. The third and 4th place went to Randhir Singh and Sanmeet Singh respectively.
In Senior boys, Sunil Choudhary, Akash Sharma, Sarabjit Singh and Manoj Kumar claimed topt four places respectively, while in senior girls, Jaspreet Kour won first place, Shiksha Sharma bagged second place, while Pooja Sharma and Manisha Sharma claimed third and 4th places respectively.
