JAMMU, July 13: The Training and Placement Cell at Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) reported its best Campus placements of 2020 passing-out batch of engineering students.
This year one of the India’s leading online education company, LIDO Learning offered the highest package of Rs 7 LPA. Maliha from CSE Department secured the highest salary package of Rs 7 LPA at LIDO Learning whereas five students were offered annual salary package of 5 LPA in Toppr Technologies included one each from Civil Department and Electrical Department.
In total, 10 companies hired 65 students with one student Grurjoyt Singh of Civil Department receiving five offer letters and four students receiving three offer letters. The highest salary package for engineering students was Rs 7 LPA and the median salary was 2.5 lakhs per annum.
This year the placement for the 2020 batch is witnessing a warm response from the reputed companies across all verticals. The top Multi National Companies’ recruited B.E students included LIDO learning, Khandari Beverages, Tech Mahindra, Genpact, Rishiswar Construction, C-Core, ICIC Bank, Shining Stars, Pie-Infocomm, and Toppr Technologies.
Leading IT Company Pie-Infocomm recruited 23 students in one drive offered annual salary package of 3.5 LPA for B.E students. IT field have also recruited B.E students offering hefty pay-packages to the young talented students. A renowned IT company Shining Stars offered 2.8 LPA and 27 students were selected included four students from CSE Department, two from IT Department, three from Electrical Department, four from Civil Department, eight from Mechanical department. A renowned construction company Rishiswar Construction offered annual salary package of 3 LPA and seven students of Civil Department were selected.
