YCET organizes e-Quiz

JAMMU, Jan 18: Striking a new chord in the overall development programme for upcoming engineers, CSE/IT Department of Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) organized an international level quiz competition virtually on the topic, ‘C-Programming’.
The event was organized to test the knowledge level of young talents in the field that expand beyond the scopes of their regular curriculum. More than 600 students registered themselves for this event wherein 515 students were appeared for quiz in which 272 cleared the exam with more than 60 percent marks.
A total of 174 students from different educational institutions of the Jammu and Kashmir participated in the event, whereas 140 students from Tamil Nadu, six from Uttarakhand, seven from Bihar, 53 from Punjab, 69 from Haryana, 39 from Delhi and 20 from Madhya Pradesh and seven students from Afghanistan. E-certificates were provided to all the participants who scored more than 60 percent marks.
Prof (Dr) AK Srivastava, Director YCET and Er Bodh Raj Verma were chief coordinators of the event, whereas the quiz was prepared by Er Anupreet and Er Robin Kumar, Assistant Professor (CSE/IT) Department and coordinated by Er Dinesh Gupta, HoD (CSE/IT) along with final year students includingVinit Sharma, Akshit Verma, Ritik Gupta, Purvai Gupta and Varuni.
