UDHAMPUR, Aug 7: 2-Day District Level Inter-School Tournament for Under-19 boys and girls in the disciplines of Wushu, Kick Boxing, Mastogi-Do and Taekwondo Competition began at Common Public Higher Secodary School, here today.
The tournament is being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, under the patronage of its Director General, Navin Agarwal and under the supervision of Sukhdev Singh, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Udhampur.
About 36 boys and girls drawn from five institutions took part in the Competition.
Principal Common Public Hr Secondary School, Suman Sneh was the guest of honour on the occasion.
The matches were officiated by Ajit Singh (Convener), Vinod Kumar, Ved Parkash, Nitin Rathore, Yash Paul and Khalid Hussain.
Among others present on the occasion were Santosh Kumari, Deepika Manhas, Anita Goswami, Swarndeep Singh, Ajay Sharma, Bhoopinder Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, Sanjeev Verma, Ranjit Singh, Rakesh, Samit Kotwal and Karun Magotra.
