JAMMU, Dec 14: Wrestling Association of J&K is organizing Traditional Senior Men and Women Freestyle UT level Wrestling Championship at Bajrangi Akhara Shalamar Road on December 21 and 22, here.
Wrestlers who are 20 years old and above are eligible for the championship. However, wrestlers aged 18 and 19 years concerned must provide a medical certificate and parental authorization.
Eligible wrestlers are requested to report at Bajrangi Akhara Shalamar Road Jammu on December 21 at 9 am for weigh-in along with Aadhaar Card and Passport two photographs. The competition will be held according to the rules framed by WFI in the various weight categories.
The selected wrestlers will represent J&K in the forthcoming Traditional Freestyle National Wrestling Championship, being organized by UP Wrestling Association under the aegis of Wrestling Federation of India at Raghukul Vidyapeeth, Civil Lines, Gonda (UP) from December 25 to 26.
