JAMMU, June 4: Wrestler Tinku of Rohtak, Haryana lifted 52nd Annual Aghar Jitto Kesari Dangal 2015 title.
The wrestling event was organized by Baba Jitto Development Committee in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association at Village Aghar Jitto in District Reasi in the memory of great revolutionary farmer Baba Jitto and Bua Kouri during annual three days Mela.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR), Abdul Sattar was the chief guest on the occasion who gave away cash prizes to the winners and runner-up wrestlers in presence of President, J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Shiv Kumar Sharma, Tehsildar Katra Kavita Pandoh, DySP Katra Dr Ashok Sharma and retd Lecturer Mubarak Singh.
In the main bout, Wrestlers Tinku of Rohtak, Haryana crushed Wrestler Lallu of Bajrangi Akhara Jammu. Winner wrestler Tinku was awarded with cash prize of Rs 6,000 along with Traditional Gurj (Gadda) and Patta by ACR Abdul Sattar, Baba Mohan Lal and Shiv Kumar Sharma while runner-up wrestler Lallu got Rs 4,000.
The second bout was won by Amir Khan of Bajrangi Akhara, Nargada who defeated Sheru of Ghaziabad, UP. Amir Khan was awarded with cash prize of Rs 4,000 whileas runner-up Sheru got Rs 3,000. The third bout was won by Tinku of Rothak who defeated Murad Ali of Domana Akhara, whereas the fourth bout was won by Rajesh of J&K Police who defeated Raj Kumar of Banaras (UP).
OTHER RESULTS: Hoshiar Singh beat Suneet Singh, Kartar Singh smashed Baboo, Karnail Singh defeated Mohit, KP crushed Harsh, Laikat Ali smashed Kartar Singh, Anil routed Gurdev, Chander Paul outclassed Rajesh, Daleep Singh beat Mohanu, Pritam Singh outplayed Shiv Shanker, Yashbir smashed Bittu, Amir Khan crushed Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Satish beat Ranjeet, Rajesh defeated Asraf, Lehar Singh beat Kuldeep Singh, Madan Singh outplayed Dara Singh, Balwan Singh routed Bir Singh, Romesh Singh beat Kuldeep Singh and Subash smashed Joginder.
