Woman constable shines in debate competition

JAMMU, Nov 26: A woman constable Sayida Akhter secured 3rd position in virtual debate competition, organised by National Human Rights Commission wherein police personnel from across the India participated.
The webinar titled “All India Police Forces Debate Competition on Human Rights” was aimed to educate the people in general and law enforcement agencies in particular about the different aspects of human rights.
Inspector Raj Kumar and woman constable Sayida Akhter were nominated for this competition by the J&K Police. Woman constable Sayida Akhter spoke on the topic “Police as protectors of law have both a professional duty and a moral obligation to uphold the human rights of individuals”. She has been awarded with cash prize, trophy and certificate.
