White Knight Corps (B) lifts Northern Command Army Adventure Cup

REASI, July 8: Three day long Northern Command Army Adventure Cup concluded at Army Adventure Node, here.
Nine teams with professional acumen from the Army participated in the competition which consisted of three team disciplines to include nine kilometers cycling, 12 kilometers running followed by 16 kilometers of white water rafting.
All the events were conducted without a breather and tested the physical as well as mental endurance of each participant.
White Knight Corps (B) team secured the first position in the competition with timing of two hours three minutes and seven seconds followed by White Knight Corps (A) team. The team from Chinar Corps bagged the third position in the event. The selected players will participate for the Army Adventure Cup scheduled to be held at a later stage.
During the prize distribution ceremony held today, General Officer Commanding said that such competitions are a reflection of the team spirit and mental decisiveness.
Adventure Sports, a hallmark of the Army, has since time immemorial been revered as a character and personality development aspect of Army’s culture and has been propagated in all its forms.
