Week-long U-16 Football Camp gets underway

JAMMU, Mar 20: A week-long Under- 16 Football Coaching Camp got underway at MA Stadium, here today.
Around 100 players including boys and girls are participating in the Coaching Camp, which is being conducted by State Awardee, International Footballer and Member J&K State Council, Arun Malhotra in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council.
Arun will be bestowing coaching tips and imparting basic techniques and skills to the budding players during the entire camp, besides the players will also come to know about the professionalism of the game and how to be professional at the national and international scene.
On the inaugural ceremony, Mr Arun provided sports kit/stuff to all the participants for their encouragement.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by a galaxy of dignitaries from the sports fraternity.
The dignitaries included Vipan Gupta, AGM J&K Bank; Zameer Thakur, President JKFA; Nazir Ahmed, Former National Footballer and Member J&K State Sports Council; Ajay Sharma, Superintendent of Police and Former International Player; Chran Das, Former National Footballer; Zindi, Former National Footballer; Abdul Qyoom, Chief Sports Officer; Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer Jammu; Rajinder, Former National Footballer; KPS Jasrotia, Former Footballer; Ranjit Singh, Former International Footballer and Chief Coach JKP ; Rajesh Sumbria, Former National Footballer; Rakesh Kumar, Former International Footballer; Deepak Sangral, Format National Footballer; Atul Gupta, General Secretary J&K Chess Association; Shri Goswami, J&K Mountaineering Association and Members from Engineers XI.
