Wahi emerges champion in Golf tournament

JAMMU, Apr 16: Sanjay Wahi emerged overall champion in the prestigious XIIth Dr Surindur Singh Memorial Golf tournament, organized by BSF at BSF Golf Course, here.
Eighteen teams comprising of 72 golfers participated in the annual event. Rakesh Sharma, IG was first to tee before the beginning of the tough competition.
Kuldeep Khoda, Vigilance Commissioner, J&K was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed trophies among the winners.
While Mr Wahi was overall champion of the tournament with the gross score of 77, Harilal, Comdt was the runner-up.
In the net score category, Brig V K Chand was winner and Rohit Bhalla was runner-up.
In individual events, Danish Khan, Col R Chengappa, Virender Maini, K K Khosa, Dr Anil Slathia and N S Jamwal, DIG BSF were the winners.
In ladies putting event, Sweety Raina was the winner and Ruby Yadav was the runner-up.
