Vriddhi Royals enters finals of KC Summer Cup

JAMMU, Aug 13: Vriddhi Royals sailed into finals of the ongoing KC Sports Cup by defeating Kathua Knight Riders (KKR), being played at KC Sports Club, here today.
After winning the toss, Vriddhi Royals elected to bat first and gave a target of 181 runs by losing two wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Rounak and Sidharth made 150 runs partnership for the first wicket. From the bowling side, Manni and Shanki took one wicket each.
In reply, KKR failed to chase the target and bundled out at 123 runs and thus lost the match by 58 runs. From bowling side, Tegvansh was the pick of bowler who took three wickets while Vicky Raina and Sourav Chopra bagged two wickets each.
Rounak was declared as man of the match for his outstanding performance. The match was officiated by Ashok Singh and Vijay Raina.
