RAJOURI, Feb 25: The Range Police Headquarters Rajouri concluded its Volleyball Tournament at District Police Lines Rajouri, organized under the Civic Action Programme 2024-25. The tournament, which began on February 18, saw enthusiastic participation from teams representing District Rajouri and Poonch, aimed at promoting sportsmanship and strengthening the bond between the police and the community.
The final match, held today was an exciting contest between Choudhary Club Rajouri and Shaheed Manjeet Singh Club Poonch. Shaheed Manjeet Singh Club Poonch emerged victorious, winning the match in a thrilling finish.
The event was graced by Tejinder Singh, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Rajouri-Poonch Range, Abhishek Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri and Gaurav Sikarwar, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rajouri. The tournament concluded with the distribution of trophies, medals and cash prizes to the winners and runners-up.
