BHADERWAH, Mar 20: 33 Bn CRPF continuing its initiative work of peace building and increasing sportsmanship amongst local youths of Bhaderwah and nearby area organized Volleyball Tournament, under Civic Action Programme 2016-17 at Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School, here today.
The Tournament was declared closed by the chief guest,Dr. Owaish Ahmed Rana, SDM, Bhaderwah while prominent amongst dignitaries who attended the closing ceremony were Govt Boys Higher Secondary School, Bhaderwah. The final match was played between The Mugal Doda and Saronda Star Volleyball teams, in which Saronda Star Volleyball team emerged winner.
Dr. Rana distributed honorarium for Referees, Commentator, Scorer, besides a volleyball and net to each participating team.
He also presented trophy, medals and cash prize to the winners and runners-up teams.
Neeraj Tyagi, second in Command 33 Bn CRPF addressed and highlighted the social activities being done through CRPF in the area.
Brijesh Kumar, SDPO, Bhaderwah, Tahir Malik, BDO, Bhaderwah, Annie Kotwal, Principal of Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School, Bhaderwah and many other senior officers and local personalities were present during the moment.
