DODA, Feb 17:Three-days District level volleyball championship tournament under 19 to 25 years age group organized by Doda Volleyball Association was today inaugurated by SDM Gandoh Pritam Lal Thapa at GHSS Khilotran (Bhalessa).
SDM Gandoh was the chief guest on the occasion, while Vice principal of Govt Degree college kihlotran Tanveer Ahmed was the guest of honour.
SDM Gandoh while addressing the participants asked the players to participate in sports along with studies as extra co-curricular activities are important for developing the overall personality of an individual. There is no dearth of talent in Bhalessa and only the need is to explore it.
The first match in the discipline of Volleyball was played between Sinoo and Dadkhi,Sinoo beat Dadkhi by 2-0. The final match of the day was won by Gowari beat Dadkhi B by 2-0.
