RAJOURI, Feb 12: District Police Rajouri organized Volleyball Tournament in Kandi as part of its Civic Action Programme, which concluded here today.
8 teams of the surrounding areas participated in the tournament, which had begun on February 8, 2013 and ended today with the final match between Koteranka-A and Army 60 RR.
The final match was witnessed by large number of people from Kandi and its adjoining areas.
Israr Ahmed Mir, Tehsildar Koteranka was the chief guest on the occasion.
Prominent among others who witnessed the finals were DySP Operation Rajouri and Deputy Commandant CRPF 72 Bn.
The Koteranka-A team won the final match by 15-11 in a nail biting finish. Later-on, the chief guest distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams and other participating players on the occasion.
