UDHAMPUR, Sept 16: Divisional Level Inter District Volleyball Tournament for boys of All Age Groups, organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports, commenced here today at Government Degree College for Boys.
On the occasion, Rachna Sharma, District Social Welfare Officer was the chief guest, who declared open the tournament in presence of Prof Rakesh Gupta, Vice Principal, Government Degree College for Boys, who was guest of honour.
About 250 boys drawn from 9 districts of Jammu Division are participating in the tournament.
In Under-14 category, Kathua defeated Jammu by 3-2 sets, whereas in under-17 category, Jammu smashed Reasi by 3-1 sets and Ramban crushed Samba by straight 3-0 sets.
In under-19 category, Samba defeated Jammu by 3-2 sets.
