JAMMU, Oct 24: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Armed Jammu, Shafqat Ahmed Watali alongwith DIG IRP Jammu, Vijay Singh Sambyal flagged off Cluster teams of Jammu and Kashmir Police in the disciplines of Volleyball, Basketball, Handball and Kabaddi to participate in the 63rd All India Police Games to be held at Jallandhar in Punjab from October 26 to October 30, 2014.
While flagging off the teams, the officers ipating players and coaches to maintain high standard of discipline in the cluster, exhibit true spirit of sportsmanship and bring good name and fame to the Jammu and Kashmir Police Organization.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Sports Officer J&K Police, Kuldeep Handoo, DySP Rajni Sharma, team manager and Daljeet Singh.
Meanwhile, DGP K Rajendra and ADGP SM Sahai in a message have conveyed best wishes to the players and the coaches and have informed that J&K Police Sports Policy is in the fray and will be implemented in letter and spirit very soon to benefit the medal prospect.
