
JKCA’s Jammu District Cricket Tournament

JAMMU, May 10: Brilliant 5-wicket haul by Vishwajeet Singh powered National Cricket Club (NCC) Jammu to a big 8-wicket win over Friends Cricket Club in the ongoing JKCA’s Jammu District Cricket Tournament, being played at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
The tournament is being organised under the patronage of Justice CK Prasad, Administrator JKCA and under the chairmanship of Syed Ashiq Hussain Bukhari, CEO JKCA and under the overall supervision of Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal, Member Judicial State Human Rights Commission and Member JKCA.
Earlier, put into bat, Friends Cricket Club bundled out for a meagre total of 69 runs in 14.3 overs. Divyansh and Rajinder contributed 21 and 15 runs to the total respectively. From NCC, Vishwajeet was the wrecker-in-chief, who took 5 important wickets, while Tanmay Slathia bagged 3 wickets. Yatin and Imran claimed one wicket each.
In reply, NCC chased the target easily in 10 overs by losing 2 wickets. Abdul Samad and Manish Dogra scored 28 runs each. Ajay took both the wickets to fall. Vishwajeet Singh was adjudged as the man of the match for his brilliant bowling display.
