JAMMU, May 9: Vishw Yog Samsthaan (World Yog Institute) hosted an inaugural event featuring Ayurvedic medical camp, Yoga classes, and Hanuman Chalisa chanting at its Hari Ki Pauri, Bagh e Bahu Ashram, here today.
The event was attended by several distinguished personalities, including Arti Thakur (SHO Police Station, Bagh-e-Bahu), Yash Paul (Xen PDD), Subash Gupta (JEE PDD), Sulhdev Bhasin (SSP 7th IRP Battalion), Rajesh Padha, Adv Vikas Chopra, Balkar Singh, Sumit Goyal, Rajan Gupta, VB Khullar, Sunny Sangotra, Raj Hans, Karuna Chetri and Ashwani Sangotra.
Yog Guru Karan Singh, Head of Vishw Yog Samsthaan (World Yog Institute) stated that the Ashram’s activities are in full throttle, with daily Yoga classes. The Ayurvedic medical camps, and Hanuman Chalisa chanting happens every Tuesday.
He added that the Institute is committed to promoting holistic wellness and traditional knowledge of Yoga and Ayurveda.
The Ayurvedic medical camp was organized by Dr. Suresh Sharma (District Ayush Officer, Jammu), Dr. Sunil Koul and Dr. Himani Butyal of AYUSH. They offered free consultations, treatments and medicines to the visitors. The doctors emphasized the importance of Ayurvedic principles and treatments in maintaining physical and mental well-being.
The Yoga classes were conducted by World Renowned Yog Guru Shri Karan Singh, who demonstrated various Asanas, Pranayama, and meditation techniques. The participants were encouraged to practice regularly for optimal health benefits.
The Hanuman Chalisa chanting event was led by Yog Guru Karan Singh, who explained the significance of the hymn and its relevance in modern times. The participants chanted the hymn with devotion and enthusiasm.
The organizers expressed their gratitude to the distinguished guests and participants for their support and participation.
