JAMMU, Mar 4: BJYM State General Secretary, Vikas Choudhary along with SHO Kanachak Neeraj Choudhary inaugurated T-20 Bawa Jitto Cricket Gold Cup tournament at Jhiri ground, Block Marh, near here today.
The inaugural tie was played between Singh Cricket Club and Jourian Cricket Club, in which Jourian Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat first.
Batting first, Jourian Cricket Club scored 138 in 19.5 overs. Amit was the top scorer with 24 runs, while Gosha made 23 and Panku 19. Pandey of Singh Cricket Club took 3 wickets, while Shanu bagged 2 and Makhan claimed one.
Singh Cricket Club chased the target in 19.2 overs by losing 7 wickets. Abbu of Singh Cricket Club played splendid innings of 41 runs (not out), while Kavi contributed 33 and Manu (29). For Jourian Cricket Club Gosha picked 3 wickets, while Rocky bagged 2 wickets. Abbu of Singh Cricket Club was adjudged as the man of the match.
