JAMMU, Apr 5: Vijay Heroes defeated Churchill Brothers by two goals to one (2-1) in a close contest of the ongoing 2nd Phase of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Memorial Gold Cup State League Football Tournament (B Division), being organized by District Football Association (DFA), under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association JKFA, here.
Ritik scored both the goals for Vijay Heroes, while Syed was the goal scorer for Churchill Brothers.
The match was officiated by Ashish Kumar, Ankit Mehta, Abhishek Chandan and Anish Kumar.
Prominent among those who witnessed the match included Sheikh Mehmood, President DFA Jammu, Yousuf Don, Secretary DFA Jammu, Rajesh Sumbria, Treasurer DFA Jammu, Narinder Gupta, Chairman Jammu United Club, Sham Lal, Charan Dass and Amardeep Singh, organizing secetary.
