JAMMU, Sept 12: Vidit Gawri outplayed Ishuk Choudhary by 4-3 and clinched the title trophy of the Senior Snooker Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association, at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
In the summit clash, Vidit registered win over Ishuk by 60-52 in the first frames. Vidit continued the winning pace and won the second frame also by 47-21.
Ishuk made a comeback in the game by winning the third frame by 46-22 and equalized the game by clinching the fourth frame by 56-07.
As the game equalized, both Ishuk and Vidit started playing mind games, but the latter raised the lead by winning the fifth frame by 49-25.
Ishuk hold his nerve intact and again leveled the game by winning the sixth frame by 66-46.
In the decider frame, Ishuk failed to register win and paved way to Vidit to win the frame by 60-29 and to clinch the title trophy of the Championship.
