JAMMU, Dec 3: J&K Veterans Superstars defeated J&K Veterans Warriors by 31 runs in an ongoing 10 match series at Jammu Sports Cricket Stadium Lower Kota Tawa Jammu here today.
Earlier, batting first J&K Veterans Superstars scored 132 runs on the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs game. Atul scored 53 runs while Rajesh Gill made unbeaten 36 runs. From the bowling side RK Bhat, Deepak Baba, Vikas and Vicky took one wicket each. In reply JK Veterans Warriors managed to score 101 runs in the stipulated 20 overs thus lost the match by 31 runs. Vicky Raina 28, Sunil 18 and Vivek Sharma 12 were the main scorers of the team. Atul was declared as man of the match for his magnificent fifty by hitting 7 fours and 2 sixes.
