VCAJK XI defeats Narayana Cricket Club by 36 runs

JAMMU, Sept 14: Veterans Cricket Association Jammu and Kashmir XI (VCAJK XI) secured a 36-run win over Narayana Cricket Club (NCC) in an exciting night T20 match at MA Stadium, Jammu.
Batting first after winning the toss, VCAJK XI posted 136/9 in 20 overs. Rafiq and Aneesh gave a 47-run start, while a vital 36-run partnership between skipper Vivek Suri and Rajeev Chopra stabilized the innings. Pradyuman, Surinder Bhat and Abhishek Bharti took two wickets each for NCC.
In reply, NCC started aggressively but were restricted to 100 all out due to tight bowling. Rohit (32) and Rajpal (25) resisted, but wickets fell at regular intervals. Vivek Suri, Arman and Bawa Barjinder took two wickets each, with Nazar, Shakur and Syed bagging one each.
