JAMMU, Nov 14: The authorities of Delhi Public School Jammu, Katra and Nagbani jointly organised a ‘Fun Mela’ for the school students with the theme ‘Back to Village’ at Delhi Public School, SMVDU- Katra.
The Mela will conclude on November 26, 2019.
The event was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor SMVDU, Prof Ravinder Kumar Sinha, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Kakriyal, Katra as the chief guest along with Brig MM Harjai, Administrator, Narayana Hospital, Dr VK Bhat, Registrar -SMVDU, Vinod Sharma, Principal Secretary, SMVDU and SS Sodhi, Pro-Vice Chairperson, DPS Katra.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Sinha stated that village life is actually a real life which is free from pollution where people love, sympathise and respect each other, above all relations.
Vice Chancellor spoke very high about Delhi Public School authorities for organising such a mega event.
Earlier, RK Verma, Principal Delhi Public School Nagbani presented welcome address.
SS Sodhi, Pro-Vice Chairperson, Delhi Public School Katra delivered vote of thanks.
