VC CUJ flags off biker rally to Ladakh

JAMMU, May 31: Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu (CUJ) Prof Ashok Aima today flagged off a biker rally to Ladakh.
The rally has been organized under the aegis of the Biker Brotherhood MC Club, India.
Prof Lokesh Verma, Academic Coordinator and HOD Education at CUJ presided over the flag off ceremony while Ranjeet Kalra member BCCI, Rashid Choudhary, senior Congress leader, Sarbarider Singh, incharge 4G Aircel J&K Circle and social activist Babar Afzal were special guests on the occasion.
Jugraj Singh, prominent biker of national repute and President of the club informed that 12 bikers led by Ride Captain Harpreet Singh Sasan would undertake the rally that will pass through Mughal Road, Sonamarg, Kargil, Leh, Nubra, Pangong Lake and culminate at Lahual Spiti.
The Club has been playing a pivotal role for promoting tourism on the Mughal Road circuit, he added.
The rally has been organized to spread the message of peace, communal harmony and brotherhood, Jugraj said.
Prof Ashok Aima while speaking wished all luck to the bikers and congratulated the Club for the initiative.
