JAMMU, June 8: Sports Authority of India recently organized an Assessment Camp for Junior National Talent Scouting Project for Under-17 Football World Cup.
Vardaan Dutt of KC Public School was among 200 probables selected for this camp from North Zone and eventually made it to the final all India shortlist.
After his selection, Vardaan attended a month-long camp at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi and underwent a rigorous routine of training for the final selection of the Indian team. After this camp, he now features in the list of 23 candidates most likely to represent India in the first-ever Football World Cup for Under-17 scheduled to take place in 2016.
