JAMMU, Mar 5: Two days UT level Archery Championship under the aegis of J&K Sports Council and J&K Olympic Association, concluded at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Stadium Katra, here today.
About 120 players from all over J&K participated in the said championship, wherein Ramesh Kumar, Chief Executive Officer Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board was the chief guest of the event who distributed medals and certificates among winners and participants in presence of guests of honour including Navneet Singh, Additional CEO SMVDSB, Sunil Sharma Joint CEO, Vishwajeet Singh Deputy CEO, Kuldeep Vedwan, coach, Rajesh Sharma Nodal Officer Sports Complex, Abhilasha Chaudhary, assistant coach, Sunil Dogra, Arun Sharma, Mahesh Sharma Chief Account Officer of the SMVDSB.
In round senior boys 30 mtrs, Divyansh Suri, Vinod Singh and Bhawani Singh stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively, while in girls category, top three positions were secured by Usha, Kajal Verma and Simmi respectively and in Indian round senior boys 50 mtrs, Divyansh Suri, Pankaj & Vinod Singh won top three places, besides in girls category, Kajal Verma, Usha & Kajal Goriya remained 1st, 2nd and 3rd, whereas in junior Indian round boys 40 mtrs, Divyansh Suri, Pariv and Bhawani Singh stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively and in girls, Romica, Sonia & Hemanshi clinched top three places respectively.
In junior round boys 30 mtrs, Divyansh Suri, Vinod Singh and Bhawani Singh bagged first three places, while in senior girls 30 mtrs, Usha, Kajal Verma and Simmi won top three places and in sub-junior round boys 20 mtrs, Bhawani, Takash and Naksham bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd, besides in girls 20 mtrs, Samriti, Harsheen Kaur and Himanshi stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd , while in individual rank 30 & 20 mtrs, top three places were secured by Bhawani, Takash and Naksham and in girls individual rank 30 mtrs, Samriti, Harsheen Kaur and Hemanshi stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd, moreover in individual rank 20 mtrs, Harsheen Kaur, Samriti and Anamika bagged top three positions.
In Indian round mini sub-junior boys 30 mtrs, Arnav, Pranav Singh and Aarav stood first three respectively, while in girls category, Mahika Slathia stood first and in Indian round girls 30 mtrs, top three positions were clinched by Romica, Sonia & Hemanshi and in sub-junior round boys 30 mtrs, Bhawani Singh, Takash and Naksham stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively, besides in sub junior round girls, Samriti, Harsheen Kaur and Hemanshi remained 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.
In men senior Olympic round compound, top three medals were won by Rakesh, Shubam & Salman Khan, while in women category, Sunaina, Munish & Anu Bhagat stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively and in junior Olympic round compound (men), top three places were won by Hritik, Ankush ,and Dheeraj, besides in junior compound (women), Sunaina won gold, while in senior recurve Olympic round (men), top three medals were won by Somya, Vishal and Papu Rathore, besides in women category, Radhika, Sikha and Smilee stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd , while in senior Indian round (Men), top three positions were clinched by Divyansh, Vinod and Bhawani and in senior Indian round (Women), Usha, Kabeel and Simmi secured top three places and in sub junior Indian round men, Bhawani, Naksham and Taksh won top three medals respectively.
In sub junior round (women), Harsheen, Samriti and Himanshi bagged top three medals, while in mini sub junior Indian round (men), Arnav, Pranav and Aarav stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd and in women category, Manika won gold, besides in recurve junior (men), Somya, Vishal and Sunny top three medals, while in women category, gold was secured by Sakshi and in recurve sub junior (men), top three medals were won by Samya, Mohit and Brishav, moreover in women category, Sakshi won gold, while junior Indian round (men), top three medals were secured by Bhawani, Divyansh and Parrive and in women category, Romica, Sonia and Hemanshi won gold, silver and bronze, while in recurve mini sub senior, gold and silver were won by Bhrishen and Krishna.
