JAMMU, May 16: J&K UT Boxing team left for participation in the Sub-junior boys/girls National Boxing Championship, here today.
The National championship is scheduled to be held at Bellary (Karnataka) from May 19 to 26. Both the teams were sponsored by J&K Amateur Boxing Association and screened by J&K Sports Council’s committee headed by Divisional Sports Officer Jammu.
Team (Boys): Vishesh Singh, Varinder Partap Singh, Mudasar Ahmad, Sourav Badyal, Andeep Singh, Aditya Sharma, Musab Ahmad and Krishna Kumar.
Team (Girls): Bareena, Sachi Balgotra, Kajal Devi and Tanvi Katoch, while Naresh Kumar (Coach) Avneet Kaur (Manager) and Tariq Ahmad (Assistant coach) will accompany the teams.
