*JKCA Green to face Orange in finals on June 11

JAMMU/SRINAGAR, June 8: Fast bowler, Urvashi Sharma helped JKCA team A1 to register 8 wickets win over JKCA team A2 in the first semi-final match of Senior Women Cricket Tournament at University of Jammu Ground, today.
Medium pacer Urvashi wreaked havoc by capturing 5 important wickets in a low scoring match, supported by skipper Sandhya Sayal who captured 3 wickets, plotting collapse of the A2 team. Sarla Devi top scored with 26 runs for A2.
In reply, JKCA A1 chased the target easily by losing 2 wickets, thus won the match by 8 wickets. Shivanti was the top scorer with 25 runs. For A2, Sarla and Muskan claimed one wicket each.
Meanwhile, in another semi-final match at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium, Ground-A Srinagar, JKCA B1 got the better of B2 by 79 runs.
Batting first, B1 scored a good total of 194 runs in the stipulated 50 overs by losing 8 wickets in the process. Fancy Jan top scored with 97 runs, while Humaira Farooq contributed 23 runs to the total. For B2, Gousia Shaban took 3 wickets, while Bismah Hassan claimed 2 wickets.
In reply, JKCA B2 bundled out for 115 runs in 23.2, thus lost the match by 79 runs. Iqra Bashir and Gousia Shaban contributed 18 runs each. For JKCA B1, Iqra Rasool, Mahroof Anjum and Rukaya Amin bagged 3 wickets each.
Now, the final match of the tournament will be played between JKCA Green (Jammu Province) and JKCA Orange (Kashmir Province) on June 11 at GGM Science College Hostel Ground, Jammu.
The tournament is being organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA).
