Two killed, 13 injured in different accidents

SRINAGAR, July 29: Two persons died while as 13 others were injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
Reports said that a tractor rolled down in an orchard at Kralpora-Pattan, Baramulla, resulting in on spot death of 14 years old Waseem Ahmad son of Abdul Majid Khan resident of Khan Stop and injuries to the Tractor driver Ghulam Hassan Khan son of Raj Muhammad resident of Khan Stop and Waseem Ahmad Dar, son of Abdul Hamid resident of Kralpora. Both the injured were shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment. The body of deceased was handed over to his next of kin for last rites.
A Maruti car JK09/1906 driven by Mushtaq Ahmad Malik aged 45 years, son of Abdul Gani Malik resident of Kalmoona skidded off the road at Kralpora-Sholoora road, near Dak Banglow, Kupwara, resulting in injuries to the driver of the car. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, where he succumbed to his injuries.
A Tata mobile hit and injured a lady namely Zareena Begum, wife of Muhammad Abdullah Bakerwal resident of Rajouri near Sakras Bridge, Sirigufwara, Anantnag. The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment.
A motorcycle JK02AB/0123 hit and injured 48 years old lady Hajra, wife of Abdul Ahad Khangroo resident of Safa Kadal near Lattar Masjid, Safa Kadal. The injured lady was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Tipper JK01G/2949 hit two motorcycles JK01L/9718 and JK01M/8798 at Pandach, Buchpora, resulting in injuries to both the motorcyclists and a pillion. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
A bus JK01D/0177 rammed in an electric pole near Kulangam, Handwara, resulting in injuries to three persons, Mohammad Abdullah Parray, son of Subhan resident of Ujjar, Sajad Ahmad Ganie, son of Mohammad Munawar resident of Gund-Chogal and Gulzar Ahmad Khosa son of Habib resident of Kalaroos-Kupwara. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
An Alto JK05B/9441 driven by Bopinder Singh, son of Gurdev Singh, resident of Chogal-Handwara and a tractor collided at Goose Kupwara, resulting in injuries to Alto driver and Suran Singh resident of Chogal Handwara. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Tata mobile JK04A/8491 hit and injured nine years old Nighat Rashid daughter of Abdul Rashid, Bhat resident of Dalwan near Dalwan, Chara-e-Sharief. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. The police has taken cognizance in all the above cases.
