JAMMU, Sept 27: Traffic Police Rural under the leadership of Senior Superintendent of Police Mohan Lal Kaith organized a debate competition under the aegis of Civic Action Programme (CAP) at VPS Farms Karalian Ramgarh Road Vijaypur, near here today.
About 50 students of three Schools including Arvind Ghosh Higher Secondary School Vijaypur, Pathseeker International Higher Secondary School Ramgarh and Government Middle School Dolian Bari Brahmana participated.
Tanveer Kour of Pathseeker International HSS Ramgarh emerged as winner, while Nidhi Sharma and Rashmi Kumar of Arvind Ghosh HSS Vijaypur remained 2nd and 3rd respectively. The 1st, 2nd & 3rd winners were awarded with the trophies and the commendation certificates. However, the participants and other students of the Schools have been awarded with the gifts and participation certificates.
Sarbjeet Singh Johar, Member District Development Council Ramgarh was the chief guest and Sat Salarbi Choudhary was the anchor on the occasion.
The SSP Traffic Rural Jammu while speaking on the occasion lauded the role of concerned Principals, students of respective Schools and other speakers, who have played their effective role for making the grand success of the competition. He also stressed upon the students to acquire continuous education to achieve their future goal.
Bhupinder Singh (Retired SSP), chairman of the Pathseeker International School, Gurmeet Singh, Principal Arvind Ghosh HSS, Romesh Chander, Head Master GMS Dolian Bari Brahmana, In-charge DySP (Traffic) Samba- Kathua, Surjeet Singh and DTI Bari Brahmana and Vijaypur were also present on the occasion.
