DODA, Feb 15: Tondwah Tigers outplayed Junior Warriors in a close contest by 2 wickets in the ongoing 2nd T-10 Cricket Warrior Cup 2017, being organized by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion Doda at Sports Stadium, here.
Batting first, Junior Warriors scored 81 runs in 10 overs, losing 6 wickets in the process. Ashu was the main contributor with 19 runs. For Tondwah Tigers, Mahesh took 2 wickets, while Arun, Vijnay, Rohit and Tanvir claimed one wicket each.
In reply, Tondwah Tigers, chased the target by losing 8 wickets to win the match by 2 wickets. Akshay top scored with 37 runs, while skipper Arun contributed 17 runs to the winning cause.
Vinay Kumar, ASP Headquarter was the chief guest on the occasion.
