JAMMU, June 3: Tiny Tots Higher Secondary School, Roopnagar celebrated ‘World Environment Week’ with enthusiasm and fervourm here today.
Kiran Wattal, Commissioner, Jammu Municipality was the chief guest on the occasion.
Students exhibited their models, interacted with parents and displayed excellent conversation skills.
The programme was organized to build self-confidence and infuse self esteem among students to hold stage before the audience.
Dance and skits were presented by the students on the occasion. Young students of Class 1st expressed strong communication skills by performing on the skit ‘Nature’, which was followed by the ‘Jungle dance’.
The most eye-catchy was the dance performance by kindergarten section ‘Prem se humko jeene do’ where children posing in animals urged and left message to the society to let them live in peace.
Students of Class 6th and 7th performed a mime skit on ‘Save trees’ which was highly appreciated.
A song on ‘Save Planet Earth’ was cheered by all.
Principal of the School, Deepali Handa emphasized the importance and relationship of man with environment.
The position holder of Class 10th Board Examination, Alka Kumari was honoured and presented a Laptop by the School to honour her stupendous achievement. She was also awarded a full scholarship for the full year. The distinction holders of the School were also honored with scholarships.
