JAMMU, Jan 27: Army at Damana organized a T-20 Cricket tournament under the aegis of the Tiger Division KC Sports Club, here.
A total of 6 teams competed in the tournament played on league-cum-knockout basis.
The Final match was played between Tiger Artillery Brigade and Division Troops.
Earlier batting first, Division Troops scored 96 runs in 16 overs. Bhanu and Tushar contributed 32 and 25 runs resepctively.
From bowling side, Vikram and Murgan took 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
In reply, Tiger Artillery Brigade chased the target in 16.3 overs. Vikram top scored with 30 runs, while Jagtap contributed 16 runs to the total. From bowling side, Maj Nikhil took 3 wickets.
Tiger Artillery Brigade won the match by 2 wickets.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was Maj General Sharad Kapur, YSM,SM, GOC.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest congratulated the winners and thanked Raju Chowdhary, Chairman of KC Sports Club and Managing Director Arjun Chowdhary for providing excellent platform to conduct the tournament in a befitting manner.
