JAMMU, May 17: Thati Tigers trounced Chack Singa CC by 18 runs and lifted the Lower Jandial Cricket tournament title, organised by a Friends Group headed by Pinto Chib, here today.
The tournament was played in two parts for juniors and seniors wherein the junior title was clinched by Juniors Thati Club beating Agore Cricket Club. Former MLA Thakur Shiv Dev Singh was the chief guest of the valedictory function, while Atul Sudan, AAP youth leader and former Sarpanch Balbir Singh were the guest of honour and special guest of the function.
The chief guest appreciated the organisers for organising the event and said these kinds of events will keep youth away from the drug menace, whereas youth leader, Atul Sudan and former Sarpanch also encouraged the participants.
