Team work helps RCC Srinagar to thrash Bhatia Cricket Academy by 76 runs

JAMMU, Apr 16: Team work helped RCC Srinagar to thrash Bhatia Cricket Academy by a big margin of 76 runs in the 40-Over match, organized by Rainawari Cricket Club in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
Winning the toss and batting first, RCC Srinagar scored a decent total of 198 runs in 36.3 overs. Musaif was the top scorer with 64 runs off 65 balls, while Ashank contributed valuable 30 off 36 balls and Dikshant Kundal made 25 off 35 balls. Sachin and Abhay chipped in with 8 runs each, while Rishab scored 7 runs. Ashank (30 off 36 balls) and Praful unbeaten (04 off 37 balls) made last wicket partnership of 44 runs.
For Bhatia Cricket Academy, Shivam was the pick of the bowlers, who took 5 important wickets, while Rakesh took 3 wickets. Manik and Sachin also claimed one wicket each.
In reply, Bhatia Cricket Academy bundled out for 122 runs, thus lost the match by a big margin of 76 runs. Ankush top scored with 40 runs, Sachin contributed 19 runs to the total, while Vishal and Vivek chipped in with 17 runs each. For RCC Srinaagr, Praful Dhar was the wrecker-in-chief, who took 4 important wickets, while Abhay Tandon bagged 3 wickets. Musaif Ajaz and Harman claimed 2 and one wicket respectively.
Joint Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Asociation, Desh Rattan Dubey was the chief guest on the occasion, while Rajesh Gill, former Ranji Trophy player was the guest of honour.
