SAMBA, Oct 26: In the ongoing sports festivals-2021, Team Samba defeated Samba Warriors and emerged winners of Police Martyrs Memorial Cricket Tournament (Under-19) for boys, organised at Rani Suchet Singh Stadium, here today.
The final match was witnessed by a large number of spectators from the Samba area and cheered for their respective teams.
Team Samba chased the target of 87 runs, set by the Samba Warriors and won the match by 5 wickets.
SSP Samba expressed hope that such sports tournaments will help the emerging young talent to explore their abilities in their respective field.
