JAMMU, Sept 1: Continuing its tradition of recruiting engineering students of high quality, TCS recently re-visited SMVDU, for selecting engineering students from the current batch.
SMVDU is an accredited partner of TCS and the company has been regularly visiting SMVDU since it has found the students up to their standards.
Despite various constraints of job market, TCS selected a total of 46 students for recruitment from the current batch thus signaling the start of Campus Recruitment-2015 programme at SMVDU.
The students passed through a rigorous On-line written test followed by multiple interview sessions.
Campus Recruitment Team from TCS was extremely pleased with the selections made and expressed his appreciation of the facilities at SMVDU.
Prof S K Jain, Vice-Chancellor, SMVDU congratulated the selected students and said that the university is continuing towards its objective of preparing manpower of high quality and integrity in the field of Engineering, Sciences, Management & Humanities. He said that the University is concerned about providing opportunities to the trained and talented students of the region so that they are placed with the best organizations in the country. Hence a pool campus of TCS was conducted in SMVDU wherein 12 students of GCET Jammu were also placed.
