Tarun wins gold in International Karate C’ship

JAMMU, May 9: Tarun Sharma, son of Dinesh Kumar Sharma, an ace karateka, brought laurels to the Country and State of Jammu and Kashmir by clinching gold medal in the International Karate Championship 2013 held in Punjab recently.
Tarun, a 2nd Dan Black Belt  from style and Ist Dan Black Belt from AIKF, played for India in the International Karate-Do-Championship in ‘Individual Kumite’ in Male Senior  (-84 kg) weight category and got first position.
The Championship was held at Rink Hall, Baradari Garden, Patiala and was organized by All India Pacific Karate Do Association from May 3 to May 5, 2013. Tarun sharma is also an actor, anchor, model and writer.
