Tanzeem Akhtar is winner of essay contest by British HC

JAMMU, Jan 24: Tanzeem Akhtar, an undergraduate student from the Government Degree College, Poonch, was declared winner of the essay competition, which was jointly organized by Jammu University and British High Commission New Delhi.
The winner will get a chance to have first hand experience of society in the UK and to acquaint with different aspects of multi- cultural Britain.
During a function at Jammu University, here today, Richard O’Hara, Second Secretary, Political Section from British High Commission, New Delhi announced Tanzeem Akhtar as winner of the essay competition and presented her a memento. JU Vice-Chancellor Prof M P S  Ishar was chief guest on this occasion.
Pradeep Dutta from Times Now, delivered expert views on the topic. Asad Mirza, Media Advisor, British High Commission, New Delhi, gave the vote of thanks while Apoorva Jamwal, Secretary Students Cultural Council, compeered the programme.
