Taekwondo training camp held

Taekwondo players in action during training camp in Ladakh.

LEH, Sept 14: Ladakh Taekwondo Association in collaboration with Spring Dale Public School Mulbekh organized a seven day-long 3rd Taekwondo training camp which culminated here today.
More than 84 students from different schools participated and benefitted from the camp as they received training from International Taekwondo Player Tashi Tundup.
President of Ladakh Taekwondo Association, Gulzar Hussain Munshi was the chief guest and Principal Spring Dale Public School was the guest of honour on this occasion. The chief guest lauded Tashi Tundup for making it to the World University Games and representing India.
Munshi assured all possible help to the club in future but requested the people to help from their side also. Principal Spring Dale Public School Tsewang Nurboo thanked President Ladakh Taekwondo Association Gulzar Hussain Munshi for organizing the camp for the 3rd time at his school which is benefiting the children of the Shargole area.
Nissar Hussain Balkhani said that Ladakh Taekwondo Association is the first sports association in Ladakh which has more than 100 Black Belts, out of which 40 are girls, Dozens of international Players and National Players, 2 Sher e Kashmir Awardee, 1 State awardee, one International Referee and 15 Professional National Referees which is in itself a great achievement of the organization which is working in the field of sports since 1999.
