DODA, Feb 20: T-20 Cricket Tournament, being organised by Combine Cricket Club Doda commenced at Sports Stadium, here today.
The opening match was played between GMC and Himalaya Night Riders Bharat. GMC scored 88 runs in stipulated 20 overs, whereas Himalaya Night Riders Bharat failed to chase the target and bundled out in 11 overs and lost the match by five wickets.
Jaffer Amin was adjudged as man of the match for his all round performance. He scored quick fire 34 runs in just 13 balls, while for GMC, Harmeet Singh played unbeaten 18 runs.
The tournament is being organised by Combine Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by ST Prime Premium Mobile Accessories in collaboration with Best Buy Jammu and Lone Communication Doda, 10 RR Doda, Janta Sports Jammu and Oxyrich- a leading mineral water distributor in J and K.
