JAMMU, June 16: Syed Superstars defeated Fresh Indian Bhallessa by a big margin of 61 runs to advance into the next round of the ongoing 2nd Edition of Champions Trophy T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Rashtriya Rifles located at Bhadewah, under the aegis of the Counter Insurgency Force (Delta) and Youth Combined Cricket Club Bhadewah at Degree College Ground, here.
Earlier, batting first, Syed Superstars scored a fighting total of 143 runs in the allotted 20 overs, losing 3 wickets in the process. Sunny scored 51 runs and Jahangir contributed 37 runs to the total. For Fresh Indian Bhallessa, Mubassir, Owais and Irfan claimed one wicket each.
In reply, Fresh Indian Bhallessa bundled out for 82 runs to lose the match by 61 runs. Mohsin contributed 30 runs to the total. For Syed Superstars, Jahangir bagged 3 wickets, while Ranjit claimed 2. Jahangir was adjudged Reliance man of the match.
