JAMMU, Dec 2: International Master Athlete Surjeet Choudhary brought pride to Jammu and Kashmir by winning a gold and a silver medal at Chandigarh Masters Athletics Meet, held at Sports Complex, Sector 7, Chandigarh.
Competing in the above-60 age category, Surjeet secured the gold medal in triple jump and silver in long jump, showcasing his enduring talent and dedication. Representing Jammu and Kashmir, he continues to reinforce the region’s presence in international master’s athletics.
Earlier this year, Surjeet won three gold medals at the Open Masters Athletic Meet in Colombo, Sri Lanka. His remarkable career also includes one gold, one silver and one bronze in 2023, three golds at the India-Bangladesh Masters Athletics Meet (2018) and three gold medals at the Khelo Masters Games 2023 in Delhi. Surjeet Choudhary’s consistent success continues to inspire young athletes and bring glory to Jammu and Kashmir on the global stage.
