JAMMU, Nov 24: Sumitpal Singh of Jammu and Kashmir cleared first round of the International Tennis Federation Tennis (ITFT) Tournament Grade-4 at delta Tennis Complex, RK Khanna Tennis Stadium, Africa Avenue, New Delhi.
Earlier, Sumitpal Singh beat Nikoloz Davliaidze (Geo) by (6-3, 5-7, 6-3), while in the second round, Sumitpal will face Udhayan Bhakar (India).
Meanwhile, in doubles, the duo of Sumitpal Singh and Aditya Vashist defeated the pair of Karan Srivastava and Muthu Aadhitya Senthilkumar in a tough contest by (6-3, 3-6, 10-4).
